Our Story Begins With Movement

Where authentic yoga practice meets the spirit of adventure, creating transformative wellness journeys that connect body, mind, and wandering soul

From Wandering to Grounding

Back in 2019, I found myself teaching yoga in cramped studio spaces, watching students rush in from traffic jams and rush out to their next appointment. Something felt disconnected from what yoga really meant to me.

The turning point came during a solo trip to Costa Rica. I rolled out my mat on a cliff overlooking the Pacific, and for the first time in months, I felt truly present. That's when I realized yoga wasn't meant to be confined to four walls – it was meant to be part of life's journey.

Snorter Yoga Studio emerged from that revelation. We believe your practice should breathe with you, whether you're in your living room or on a mountain trail. Our approach blends traditional wisdom with the freedom of movement, both in body and geography.

What Guides Our Practice

Three principles that shape every class, retreat, and moment we share together

Authentic Movement

Your body knows what it needs. We guide you to listen deeply rather than forcing poses that don't serve you. Every practice honors where you are today.

Connection Over Perfection

We create space for genuine connection – with yourself, others, and the places we visit. Progress happens through presence, not perfect postures.

Mindful Adventure

Whether traveling across continents or exploring your own backyard, we approach every experience with curiosity and respect for local wisdom.

How We Transform Together

Every student's path looks different, but certain patterns emerge when we commit to authentic practice and open-hearted exploration

1

Finding Your Foundation

Students often arrive feeling disconnected from their bodies and stressed by daily demands. We start by establishing breath awareness and basic alignment principles that work anywhere – your living room, a hotel, or a beach in Thailand.

2

Building Confidence

As practice becomes consistent, students develop trust in their own intuition about movement and rest. They learn to modify poses naturally and begin viewing challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles. This confidence extends beyond the mat into daily life decisions.

3

Embracing Adventure

With solid foundation and growing confidence, students feel ready to explore – whether that means trying advanced poses, joining a retreat, or simply practicing outdoors for the first time. They've developed tools for staying centered wherever life takes them.
